Hand Therapy

Hand therapy is a specialized area of rehabilitation focused on treating conditions affecting the hands, wrists, and arms. It involves the evaluation and treatment of injuries, conditions, or surgeries that affect the functionality of these areas. Hand therapy may be recommended for conditions such as fractures, tendon injuries, nerve compressions, arthritis, and repetitive strain injuries.


ICBC Early Access Concussion Recovery (EACR) Program

The EACR Pilot Program facilitates early interdisciplinary intervention and education for ICBC customers who sustained a concussion in a crash. For eligibility to the program, any health care provider on the customer’s treatment team (with a supplementary MD diagnosis documentation for customer concussion where possible) may refer a customer to the EACR Program, directing the referral to the cu... The EACR Pilot Program facilitates early interdisciplinary intervention and education for ICBC customers who sustained a concussion in a crash. For eligibility to the program, any health care provider on the customer’s treatment team (with a supplementary MD diagnosis documentation for customer concussion where possible) may refer a customer to the EACR Program, directing the referral to the customer’s ICBC Recovery Specialist so that ICBC can review whether customer meets the eligibility criteria for funding approval.

David graduated from the UBC Masters of Physical Therapy program and holds a bachelor degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University.

He brings into his physiotherapy practice 5 years of experience as a Kinesiologist designing and implementing active rehabilitation programs and experience as a fitness trainer for over ten years.

David has completed mobilization with movement (Mulligan) courses for both Upper and Lower Quadrants as well as the Level II Upper and Lower Orthopedic Manual Therapy courses.

He is currently working towards CACFI certification in medical acupuncture and is excited to be able to bring these tools into his practice in the near future!

Chunghyun obtained his B.Sc degree at UBC, and then he graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Master of Physical Therapy degree.

He has been primarily working at private clinics, and attained additional certifications in dry needling (IMS), acupuncture, and vestibular rehabilitation.

He uses combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities, dry needling, and education as his treatment approach.

Paramjot Dhillon obtained Master in Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) from Punjabi University, India in 2009. She has over 11 years of experience in clinical settings and teaching.

Paramjot has worked as an Associate Professor in Christian Medical College and Hospital, India. She has 9 research articles published in the reputed journals.

She is certified in Functional Dry Needling Level 1 and Pelvic Health Level 1.
